Overview:

Educational Leadership focuses on the advanced study of administration, policy implementation, and institutional improvement within educational organizations. It prepares experienced practitioners for senior leadership and systemic improvement roles.

What You Will Study:

Students combine educational foundations (theory development and scholarly writing) with current issues in education practice. The research methods core provides deep training in quantitative, qualitative, and applied research design to systematically address persistent educational challenges.

Graduation Requirements:

  • 60 total credit hours with a minimum cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0.

  • Passing the Candidacy Qualifying Exam to demonstrate problem articulation.

  • Oral defense of the Dissertation Proposal before the assigned committee.

  • Securing formal Institutional Review Board (IRB) research approval.

  • Successful final oral defense of the mandatory dissertation.
